As a postdoc at UCSB’s Environmental Markets lab I am creating a coupled social-ecological model to predict the impacts of offshore wind development to US West Coast fisheries. The model will help in future offshore wind farm site selection by forecasting fishing effort redistribution and projecting ecological consequences.
